My name is Konstantinos Kottikas and I am a constructor with studies in civil engineering. Recently, I have built a complex of three luxurious stone villas with individual swimming pools in Meganisi (Lefkas/ Greece). They are located in Spartochori and they have a clear view of the sea and the island of Scorpios.
The characteristics of these houses are: complete traditional stone construction, 100 square meters each including 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of those has a jacuzzi), 1 wc, 1 store room, a living room with a fireplace and a wooden kitchen. All the floors and the roof are wooden based in traditional style (made of best quality oak tree wood).
Each villa has a private pool (of 40 cubic meters), a stone based barbeque and 700 square meters with private garden (including olive trees, natural rocks, flowers, wooden floor and garden / we try to keep the natural surrounding environment as it initially was). Also, there is a parking space for 2 cars for each house. The doors and double frame windows are made of best quality oak tree wood.
The houses have a central air conditioning unit (for cold and heat), so that each room in the house can have independent temperature. This system is based on latest air conditioning technology, which provides energy saving.
The whole construction is ecological as no materials used are toxic. There has been given specific attention at the lighting of the gardens, the swimming pools and the inside and the outside of the the houses have an excellent view to the sea and the island of Scorpios (the private island of Onasis).
Finally, each house provides a high level of privacy, with each house having no contact with the other two.
